About Me:

My name is Jessica and I graduated from the Veterinary Office & Technical Assisting program at Robertson College in 2020 and have been working in a variety of clinics since then. Starting in a general practice before transitioning to an emergency setting, I have been privileged enough to have the opportunity to work with almost every type of clinic. Prior to graduating I spent much of my time volunteering on the hospital side of animal rescues, and taking any opportunity to work with exotic animals available.

Why I Love Working in Vet Med:

Working in Veterinary Medicine has always been a goal of mine. Growing up watching how deeply the unique bonds we form with our pets can affect us, has driven a desire in me to want to help care for them, and by extension the people who love them. I love my role as a technician assistant because it not only allows me to actively impact pets and their families in a positive way, and also allows me to continually learn how to better care for pets and their people.
